How to play

Merge through edges

Place single tiles or pairs on a 37-cell hexagonal board. New numbers are 2, 4 or 8; a single joker appears occasionally. Three or more equal numbers connected through shared edges merge into one tile of twice the value: 2 → 4 → 8 → 16 and beyond. Any connected shape counts. Touching only at a corner does not count.

Place and rotate

Tap an empty field to place the current tiles immediately, or drag them from the tray onto the board and release. The arrows or R rotate pairs by 60°. On the board use arrow keys to choose a target and Enter or Space to place directly. Escape clears the highlight. Single tiles and jokers do not need rotation.

Jokers and double points

Jokers are enabled by default; switch them off in settings. The rare joker ✦ replaces any number. Two equal numbers plus a joker form a group of three. If it connects several values into valid groups, all merge together. Each joker group earns double points: joker + 2 + 2 scores 12. The joker counts as that group’s value and is removed only once. The bonus applies once per group, even with several jokers. Each group leaves one tile of twice its value; simultaneous groups keep their results on separate numbered fields. At least three jokers alone count as 2s. Later chains without a joker score normally.

Points and chain reactions

Each consumed tile adds its value. Three 2s score 6; four 2s score 16; five 2s score 40. Every tile beyond three doubles the whole group’s reward. All matched tiles become one doubled tile, regardless of group size. Newly formed groups merge again, adding their own points.

In a normal merge, the resulting tile prefers the first placed field belonging to that group. The round ends when the current single tile, joker or pair cannot fit anywhere, considering all six orientations. There is no time limit.

Time and continuing

Active play time starts with the first placement and pauses in menus and in the background. The timer is hidden by default. Your round resumes on this device. When signed in, save its position, points, moves, highest tile, next piece, rotation, joker mode, tile style and play time in one of your three private slots.
